Interview Practice Mode FAQ

Your Guide to Interview Practice Mode

Updated yesterday

What is Interview Practice Mode?

Interview Practice Mode lets you practise answering real medical school interview questions and receive personalised feedback on your response. You can choose to speak your answer (like a real interview) or type it.

How does it work?

  1. Choose a question from the question bank

  2. Select Speak mode or Type mode

  3. Give your answer

  4. Receive personalised feedback on what you did well and how to improve

How many practice attempts do I get?

You can make up to 140 attempts in Speak mode and 140 attempts in Type mode per week. Your allowance refreshes every Sunday at 12:00 GMT.

Is this included in my subscription?

Yes – Interview Practice Mode is included as part of your Medify subscription at no extra cost.

Can I practise the same question multiple times?

Yes. You can repeat any question as many times as you like (within your weekly allowance). This is a great way to refine your answer based on feedback.

What's the difference between Speak mode and Type mode?

  • Speak mode – You record yourself answering out loud, simulating real interview conditions

  • Type mode – You write your answer, useful for structuring your thoughts or practising in a quieter setting

Both modes give you personalised feedback.
